COOLIDGE, AZ – Rural Arizona Action has opened its endorsement application process for the 2026 midterm election, with applications beginning March 10.
Political candidates running for local or state office to represent rural and border communities in Arizona are invited to apply.
The organization seeks to endorse candidates who are committed to advocating for rural and border communities and ensuring these regions are represented in the decisions that will shape Arizona’s future.
“We want our endorsements to reflect community priorities, strong values and accountable leadership,” said Pablo Correa, executive director of Rural Arizona Action. “We’re looking to support candidates who will build power and expand opportunities in rural and border communities, not hold us back.”
As part of the application, candidates will be asked to indicate their party affiliation (if applicable), provide a short bio, upload a high-resolution photo for potential campaign materials, outline their priority issues and describe their commitments related to rural power, environmental protection, education, accountability, immigration, affordability and voting rights.
