For decades, Adelita has shown up for her community, not just with words but with action. From her service on the Tucson Unified School District board to her leadership as a Pima County Supervisor, she has worked across sectors to make government more accessible and accountable to the people.

Reproductive Freedom: Adelita stood against Arizona’s near-total abortion ban and defends the right for all people to make their own healthcare decisions.

Youth and Education: She expanded preschool, raised teacher pay, and helped cut failing school grades in half during her time with TUSD.

Environmental Protection: Adelita led efforts to block harmful mining operations and protect water and land across Southern Arizona.
