Coolidge, AZ - In response to delays affecting the distribution of early ballots in Pinal County, Rural Arizona Action is providing essential resources and guidance to ensure voters are informed about their options for casting their vote on time. We urge all voters in Pinal County who have not yet received their ballot to consider the following steps to confirm their vote is counted.
Steps for Pinal County Voters Without a Received Ballot
1. Check Your Ballot Status Online
Some ballots may still be in transit. Confirm the status of your ballot here: https://my.arizona.vote/PortalList.aspx
Select “Check the status of your Ballot-by-Mail/Early Ballot” for the most current information on your ballot.
2. Vote Early in Person
Even if you have not received your mail-in ballot, you are eligible to vote early in person. Visit one of Pinal County’s designated early voting sites: Pinal County Early Voting Sites
If your original ballot is lost, you can request a replacement at these locations. Be prepared to sign a sworn affidavit to confirm the original ballot was not received.
3. Vote on Election Day
Voters who choose to vote on Election Day can find their polling place here: https://my.arizona.vote/WhereToVote.aspx?s=address
If you haven’t received your early ballot, you may request a replacement at your polling place, which will require a signed affidavit.
4. For Voters Unable to Vote in Person
Voters who are physically unable to cast their ballot in person may be eligible for a ballot delivery. Contact the Pinal County Recorder’s Office at Pinal County Recorder Contact to make a special request, subject to availability.
Holding Election Officials Accountable
Rural Arizona Action is committed to advocating for fair, accessible elections in rural Arizona. While these delays are concerning, we’re here to support Pinal County voters and work to ensure every vote counts. Our Organizing team recently reached out to over 30,000 Pinal County residents, receiving approximately 200 responses regarding ballot status and potential issues. These responses are crucial for assessing the impact of these delays and advocating for accountability.
If further action is required, voters may consider reaching out to the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office at their general contact number: https://azsos.gov/about/contact-us.
Rural Arizona Action is exploring long-term measures to prevent such occurrences in future election cycles.
