LOOKING BACK ON 2020

2020 has been a year for the history books for so many different reasons. From the global Covid-19 pandemic to the 2020 Election, there has been a lot of contention throughout the world. However, despite the challenges, the RAZA Team is proud of the progress we made in our community, state, and country.

On Nov. 2, 2021, voters made their voices heard in the Maricopa Unified School District budget override election. The override, which will help keep class sizes low, invest in technology, and maintain the RAM Academy, passed by 76 votes. RAZA contacted more than 3,500 voters to encourage them to vote YES in support of Maricopa public schools. When education is funded, communities thrive and everybody wins.
